It
is important to us that you start off with
a good breakfast.
Apart from omelettes and bacon and eggs we
prepare an opulent buffet – with cereals,
milk and yoghurt, fresh fruit and fruit juices
rich in vitamins, with cold meats, ham and
smoked meat as well as a large selection of
cheeses. The rolls are fresh from the baker’s
every day. Enjoy your breakfast on the terrace,
under the leaves of a majestic palm tree,
or in the comfortable Austrian atmosphere
of our breakfast room. |

The
lounge invites
you to mingle with other guests in the afternoon
and evening. The bar
is stocked with a wide variety of exquisite
South African wines. A fireplace radiates
cosiness on winter days; in summer the doors
to the lush garden are kept open. |

Incidentally it is the garden
that gave Palmquell its name:
the tall palm trees, the fruit trees, shrubs and creepers
call tropical climes to mind. The water comes from one
of the hot springs which line the southern slope of Klein
Windhoek. |
